Silver Jewellery with a Global Identity

Silver Jewellery with a Global Identity

Berlin based Manizhe Ali launches her line of silver jewellery at Alle'nora salon in Karachi on July 13th. While her primary interest is silver jewellery, she also creates designs with semi-precious stones like sapphires and rubies.
Birds often find themselves drawn into Ali's silver jewellery design since she finds her inspiration from Mother Nature herself. Another commonly occurring element in her silver jewellery is pendants with faces carved into them. Having found these faces carved into bones of cows in Bali, she now incorporates them in her silver jewellery pieces.
Ali does this out of passion and due to this her silver jewellery is always customized to meet the needs of her clients. Her sets are well-priced and they cost no more that Rs. 30,000.
When asked about her line of silver jewellery, she compares the diversity in her work to that seen in the nation she belongs to. She adds that her pieces do not take a distinct Asian form, but are in fact a good fusion of the East and West.
